CourseGraphic This course introduces students to the fundamentals of AutoCAD software with a focus on applications in solar photovoltaic (PV) system design. Students will learn basic computer-aided drafting skills, including creating and editing 2D drawings, using industry-standard symbols, and applying drawing conventions relevant to solar PV installations. The course covers site layout planning, panel placement, wiring diagrams, and system documentation, preparing students to produce accurate, clear technical drawings for solar PV projects.

This course counts toward the Small Business Management Microcredential and the Sustainable Energy Technology diploma.
