Prerequisites: RC205, plus one upper level SET course (RC325 or RC326)

A hands-on lab that focuses on Solar PV design and installation where students work with the equipment and practice many essential skills required to become a successful Solar PV installer. Students will get their fall arrest certification as part of this lab.

Please note: Although beneficial to gain hands-on skills and open to qualified students only, this lab is optional and not required to obtain the Solar PV micro-credential.

Delivery: In-person (Vermilion campus)
Format: 2-day lab
Location: Vermilion, Alberta
 
This is a non credit course that is part of the Solar PV Micro-Credential. Instead of QNRG220, students may choose to register in the RC431 On-Site lab, a full week lab worth 3 credits counting towards the SET Diploma.

Students should only proceed with the registration if the have (or will have, at the time of the lab) the following prerequisites: RC205, plus one upper level SET course (RC325 or RC326). *Students may choose to register in RC431 On-Site lab in lieu of QNRG220.
