ClassGraphic Students learn the legal and legislative responsibilities of a Level II Fire Officer and of the fire department in this textbook-based course. At this level, students have increased responsibilities related to the development of their members. Students learn to maximize member performance, evaluate job performance, and create a member's professional development plan. Students also learn to analyze a member's accident, injury, or health exposure with the aim of decreasing the same. Finally, students explain the benefits to the organization of cooperating with allied organizations.

Prerequisite: NFPA 1021 Level I

Textbook: IFSTA Company Officer 6th ed.

Evaluation: assignments, proctored written exam
