
This textbook-based course covers more advanced administrative requirements of the Level II Fire Officer, including preparing a project or divisional budget, writing news releases, preparing written reports, identifying service demands for various planning areas within the service area of the organization, and developing policy or procedural changes. As part of budget preparation, you will also learn the process of purchasing. Finally, you will learn how to determine the preliminary cause of fire to determine if arson is involved.
