ClassGraphic This course focuses on:
  • inspecting, maintaining, servicing and hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers
  • recognizing standards for the selection and installation of extinguishers
  • learning how to set up, maintain and manage proper fire extinguisher records and inspections tags
This course is approved by the Fire Technical Council as meeting the requirements for a certificate of training as per the Alberta Fire Code. Successful students will be awarded a Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance Certificate.

Evaluation: practical evaluation, proctored written exam
