The Pesticide Certification Program is receiving a significantly increased volume of applications from out of province. As a result, processing times have increased. Applications will take approximately 8–10 weeks to process. Applicants who require certification for immediate pesticide application work in Alberta must provide a letter from their Alberta employer, including the employer’s Alberta address, to be considered for expedited processing. Applicators applying for reciprocity MUST email a copy of their out of province certificate to pesticides@lakelandcollege.ca within 3 business days of completing this application. When we have received verification from the issuing province, we will phone you to schedule your exam. Please note that refunds are not available once payment has been processed. All pesticide certification exams are to be written at an approved proctor site. We have approved proctor sites in Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grand Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Olds, and Vermilion.
