Production Field Operator - Field Operator Overview Part A
Topics include: duties of a field operator, land locations, pipelines and right of ways, formations and zones, drilling rig operations, the well, service rig overview, flow diagrams, basic electrical knowledge, instrumentation terms & units, pressure measurement, flow measurement, liquid flow measurement, temperature measurement, waste storage & disposal, vegetation management and flare stacks.
- You will have 4 months to complete each course. All course requirements including examinations must be completed within the course contract dates. There are 4 courses in this certificate. Students can register and complete one course at a time.
Proctored exams:
You require a proctor for the midterm and final examinations. More details and forms will be available through the online course.
Online Requirements:
You will be using Lakeland College online learning management system (LMS), Desire2Learn for this course. High speed internet is recommended. Firefox or Chrome browsers are recommended for the best user experience.
