ClassGraphic ASL 1: In this course, you will learn to:
  • Introduce yourself
  • Fingerspell words
  • Count off numbers 1 to 29
  • Ask/tell if the two descriptions are the same or different
  • Identify a person by their appearance
  • Describe a shape and indicate where to place secondary items
  • Give commands involving objects and body position
  • Get another person's attention
  • Giving information about yourself
  • Talk about leisure activities

Students who complete the ASL 1 and ASL 2 micro credentials successfully will have the course substitution for the ASL101 course in the American Sign Language and Deaf Culture studies certificate.
