
Hydrogen Energy Technology

This online, instructor-led course provides an introduction to hydrogen as an emerging energy carrier in a low-carbon economy. Students will explore current industry practices in hydrogen production from both fossil and renewable sources, along with key purification, storage, and transportation methods. The course also examines existing and emerging end-use applications of hydrogen—particularly in transportation—and its expanding role in decarbonizing global energy systems.
This 3-credit course is part of the Sustainable Energy Technology diploma program and the Bioenergy and Biofuels micro-credential.
