ClassGraphic 200 hour course with a combination of hands-on training and on-site assignments.  This is an ABSA approved course.
 
NOTE: *It is the responsibility of the student to ensure they meet the requirements of the appropriate provincial safety authority.
 
A minimum number of students is required to run this course.  Students will be notified by Lakeland College if a course cancellation is required.
 
Students must complete and submit proof of a 4th Class Power Engineering Part A or Part B approved course to energyconed@lakelandcollege.ca at the time of registration.

Notice

Please read:  Successful completion of a 4th Class Part A or Part B theory course from an approved school is required to attend the 4th Class Power Engineering Steam Lab. Students are required to submit proof of 4th Class theory Part A or Part B course completion requirement to energyconed@lakelandcollege.ca at the time of registration. Full course fee is required at the time of registration. Students are required to complete the Lakeland College WHMIS training course as well as lab safety requirements. A WHMIS link will be provided to students prior to the course start date. Lab class will be held on May 18, 2026 long weekend. Attendance is mandatory for all lab class dates. Registration opens November 3, 2025 at 8:00 AM.
