This advanced course equips students with the expertise to lead and execute complex rope rescue operations in high-angle environments. Emphasizing safety and risk mitigation, students will learn to direct teams in systems for safely rescuing stranded or suspended victims from natural or manmade features. The course includes advanced skills such as victim transfer between systems, horizontal load movement, and handling emotionally distressed individuals at height. Students will develop proficiency in ascending, descending, and managing personal movement on fixed ropes, including emergency response to equipment malfunctions, ensuring comprehensive preparedness for high-stakes rescue situations.

Prerequisites: 1006 (1021) Rope Rescue Operations Level OR 1006 (2013) Rope Rescue Level I & II
