CourseGraphic This course teaches you to become proactive in rescue by:
  • recognizing the hazards of a confined space
  • identifying which of those hazards can be managed
  • taking the proper steps to safely and effectively manage the hazard through basic and advanced skill sets
Skills covered include:
  • pre-planning a rescue
  • air monitoring
  • lockout/tagout
  • ventilation
  • inerting
  • using an Incident Command System
  • strategic rescue factors
  • safely
  • providing built-in rescue equipment
  • managing the hazards of a confined space
You also participate in a critical discussion about accident prevention.

Prerequisite: RT-100

Evaluation: practical evaluation, proctored written exam

Certification: Successful students are eligible to apply for IFSAC certification
