There are 5 courses in the Solar PV Microcredential program. The successful completion of the 4 mandatory courses is required to earn the Solar PV Micro-Credential Certificate of completion. Students have the option of taking 1 additional course. The 4 mandatory courses are: • RC200 Basic Energy Principles (no prerequisites or admission requirements, strong physics and math inclination recommended) • RC205 Introduction to Solar energy (must have successfully completed RC200) • RC325 Solar Photovoltaic Systems (must have successfully completed RC205) • RC326 Electrical Installation and Codes (must have successfully completed RC325) The optional course is: • Solar PV On-Site Lab (RC200, RC205 and RC325 courses must be successfully completed to register in the Solar PV On-Site Lab)
