The Pesticide Certification Program is receiving a significantly increased volume of applications from out of province. As a result, processing times have increased. Applications will take approximately 8–10 weeks to process. Applicants who require certification for immediate pesticide application work in Alberta must provide a letter from their Alberta employer, including the employer’s Alberta address, to be considered for expedited processing. Applicators applying for reciprocity MUST email a copy of their out of province certificate to pesticides@lakelandcollege.ca within 3 business days of completing this application. When we have received verification from the issuing province we will phone you to schedule your exam.
